Small Skipper (Thymelicus sylvestris)

Note: orange/buff underside to antennal tip 		The single brood of this species is found on the reserve from June to August with the bulk of individuals appearing in July. They are easily distinguished from their larger relative by their smaller size and plain orange coloured wings. The habits of the adults and larvae are similar to those of the Large Skipper.
