![]() | One of the sites known to Abhi was called Nachinola Fields. We visited this site on the way back from Maem Lake one late morning. We passed a small pond known for Paddyfield Warbler on the way. |
| On reaching the site Abhi parked up at the roadside of a narrow road that passed in between a couple of marshy fields. Alongside the road was a small dyke with branches running off it into the fields. |

![]() Chestnut-shouldered Petronia | At this site we saw Steppe Eagle and Lesser Adjutant overhead. On the wires good views of common species were obtained and my only Black-headed Munias of the trip were found by Len in the fields. This site was the only place other than the Beira Mar Hotel where I saw Cinnamon Bittern. Two birds were flushed from the dyke running alongside the road. |
![]() Long-tailed Shrike |

Abhi borrowed Lens scope and when asked said he may have found something important. His excellent eyesight had picked up three Yellow-wattled Lapwings crouched in amongst the grasses. Although I do not know the exact location of this site it is worthy of a visit and may well produce any number of interesting species. |
